The Fort Cow Calf Co-op Association provides farmers with an alternative method of financing cattle with the intention of forming or increasing a cow herd.

 

 

What We Offer

 

We finance bred heifers, bred cows, cow-calf pairs and heifer calves.

 

Bred Heifers/Bred Cows/Cow-Calf Pairs

 

  • Financed over a five year term with annual payments December 1st

  • Maximum financing is $30,000 (for new members) **

  • Maximum financing is $100,000 (for  members in good standing)

  • Maximum financing is $150,000 (for family units)

  • Interest rates:

                     Floating is Prime + 1/2%

                     Mixed rate is Prime + 1% set at December 1st each year of loan

 

  • 10% security deposit

 

Heifer Calf Financing

  • Financed over a one year term (payable a year from contract date)

  • Maximum financing is $30,000 (for new members)

  • Maximum financing is $50,000 (for members in good standing) **

  • Interest rate:

                    Floating is Prime + 1/2%

 

  • 10% security deposit

 

** Maximum financing is subject to combined borrowings between the Bred Heifer Program and the Heifer Calf Program not exceeding $30,000 for new members, not exceeding $100,000 for an individual and not exceeding $150,000 for a family unit.
